VILLA TAU

Villa Tau, just north of Ubud, is a relaxed and spacious 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom tropical villa that sleeps 8 guests. It has been decorated with a combination of modern furniture and Balinese art and antiques that combine to give it a quintessentially Balinese feel – but with all the modern amenities that our guests love.

The villa has large open-plan living areas that flow seamlessly to the outdoors allowing you to enjoy the excellent weather that Bali offers year-round. We’ve also equipped the villa with a pool table, Smart TV and a dedicated coffee room complete with a Nespresso machine and a self-service bar fridge.

Villa Tau has a staff of four who are there to look after your every need: from cooking your complimentary breakfast, or other meals off our reasonably priced, varied Ă  la carte menu (we are not a self-catering villa), to housekeeping and managing the pool and garden. We also provide complimentary concierge services such as booking day trips and making restaurant reservations, should you require them.

VILLA SETTING

Villa Tau is in Kenderan, Tegallalang, 6km north of Ubud – about 15 minutes from central Ubud.

With easy access from the main road, Villa Tau is surrounded on three sides by beautiful rice fields. The iconic rice field photos of Bali are often shot in Tegallalang and Villa Tau’s surroundings form part of this beauty.

The area is quiet and peaceful, yet close to Ubud and the sights that people come to see, making it an ideal location.

WHY STAY AT VILLA TAU?

While it is perfectly situated for guests who want to visit Ubud and its many sights, Villa Tau is also ideal for those who just want to relax at the villa.

It suits guests who want large, open spaces that allow for easy entertaining and relaxing. There are two bedrooms upstairs in the main house, a cottage in the middle of the garden and a beautiful large, traditional Joglo at the end of the garden.

This, combined with the spacious living areas, allows for family and friends to come together when they want but to also have privacy when they need it.

Because it is catered (although there is no obligation to eat at the villa), it is ideal for those guests who would rather come home to a prepared meal than have to self-cater. Our staff of four is there to look after you throughout your stay.
